Scott Rynne, the assistant head coach and offensive line coach, is in his 13th year. Under his guidance last fall, the Tufts O-line paved the way for a Jumbo offense which gained 396.1 yards per game (fourth in NESCAC). Prior to Tufts, Rynne was the interim head football coach at Pomona-Pitzer. He has also been head women’s lacrosse coach at Pomona-Pitzer, men’s lacrosse head coach at Susquehanna and a men’s lacrosse assistant coach at Tufts. During his Tufts lacrosse tenure, the team won three NCAA Championships and he was named the nation’s Outstanding Assistant Coach in 2014. A 1991 graduate of Williams, Rynne was part of the Ephs’ back-to-back undefeated football seasons in 1989-90.
