Tufts Men’s Cross Country Realizes Potential with Ninth-Place Finish at NCAA Championship
The Tufts men's cross country team met its goal of finishing among the national top 10 when the Jumbos placed ninth at the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship at Lake Breeze Golf Course on Saturday afternoon. That was the third-best finish out of five New England teams at the meet.

The Tufts men's cross country team is on its way to Winneconne, Wisconsin this week to compete in the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship after it was announced on Sunday that the Jumbos received an at-large berth into the NCAA field.

The Jumbo Men's Cross Country team will be vying for a national qualifying spot at the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Bowdoin College this Saturday. Tufts will be looking to earn its first berth into the NCAA Championship field since 2007. The race begins at noon.

RAND AND WALLIS PACE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TO EIGHTH AT ALL-NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP
The Tufts men's cross country team ran to an eighth-place finish out of 43 teams at the All-New England Championship at Franklin Park on Saturday. With teams from Divisions I, II, and III competing, the Jumbos top-eight showing is a testament to the strength of this year's squad.

DEPTH ON DISPLAY AS MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TAKES SEVENTH AT CODFISH BOWL
Even with the team's top 12 runners out of action, the Tufts men's cross country team was able to hold their own against some stellar competition at the Codfish Bowl in Boston on Saturday. The Jumbos placed all five scorers in the top 85 of the 286-man field to accumulate 219 points, good enough for seventh out of 24 teams.

RAND, JUMBO MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY WIN SEASON OPENING RACE AT MAINE INVITATIONAL
The Jumbo men's cross country team placed four runners in the top 10 and eight in the top 25 to win the Maine Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday. Tufts finished with 35 points, 21 ahead of second place Bates. Bowdoin took third with 60 points, followed by Keene State, Southern Maine, Trinity, and Colby.
