Emily Griffin joined the coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2017. She primarily works with the outfielders and slappers. During her first season on staff at Tufts, the team compiled a 32-10 record and advanced to the NCAA Regional Final.
Prior to her time at Tufts, Griffin was a four-year starter for Bowdoin as a pitcher and outfielder. Griffin was a two-time NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete, a two-time Second Team All-NESCAC honoree and a First-Team All-NESCAC honoree. Griffin finished her career at Bowdoin fourth in school history for pitching wins and among the top ten in number of hits, stolen bases and runs scored. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Sociology in 2017.
Griffin is currently pursuing her Masters in the Art of Teaching for Middle School English Language Arts at Tufts.
