Greenwald's Ninth in 100 Butterfly Highlights NCAA Women's Swimming Meet for Jumbos
Sophomore Mia Greenwald (Park City, UT) of the Tufts women's swimming team enjoyed a fantastic day at the 2012 NCAA Div. III Championships on Thursday. She ended up ninth in the 100 butterfly and 14th with the 400 medley relay and finished the meet as a three-time honorable mention All-American.

Academic All-NESCAC Selections for 2011-12 Winter Sports Include 91 Jumbo Student-Athletes
Ninety-one winter sport athletes at Tufts were awarded Academic All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors on Wednesday. Recipients have achieved at least sophomore academic standing with a grade point average of 3.35 or better and are letter-winners on their teams.

Women's 200 Medley Relay Swims 14th at NCAA Championship Meet on Wednesday
The Tufts University women's swimming 200 medley relay foursome of first-year Samantha Sliwinski (Weymouth, MA), sophomore Jenny Hu (Oakland, CA), sophomore Mia Greenwald (Park City, UT) and senior Courtney Adams (Lake Forest, IL) combined to finish 14th at the 2012 NCAA Div. III Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday. Their time of 1:47.04 in the final earns honorable mention All-American honors.

Tufts in Six Events at 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming Championships in Indianapolis
By virtue of their 1:45.83 time in the 200 medley relay at the NESCAC Championship meet, four members of the Tufts women's swimming & diving team qualified to swim in seven events at the 2012 NCAA Div. III Championships to be held at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) March 21-24.

Six Tufts University women's swimmers and head coach Nancy Bigelow today were recognized on the 2012 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference Team. Swimming honors go to the top three finishers in each event.

Women's Swimming & Diving Breaks Several Records, Finishes Third at 2012 NESCAC Meet
With 11 school records broken or tied, and seven national B times posted, the Tufts women's swimming & diving team had one of its best-ever performances at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) meet in 2012. The Jumbos placed third out of 11 teams, scoring 1,261.5 points at the meet hosted by Wesleyan Friday through Sunday.

For the second straight week, a member of the Tufts women's swimming & diving team has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference's (NESCAC) Performer of the Week. This time it's senior Hannah Will (Mount Vernon, NH), who had a career-best weekend at the Wheaton Invitational.

Strong relay performances highlighted the Tufts women's swimming & diving team's final regular-season meet at the Wheaton Invitational on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The non-scoring meet featured teams from host Wheaton, MIT and Clark joining the Jumbos.

Sophomore Mia Greenwald (Park City, UT) of the Tufts women's swimming & diving team finished a stand-out dual meet season on Saturday at Wheaton College with a NESCAC Performer of the Week effort. She is the first member of Coach Nancy Bigelow's team to earn the honor this year.

Fourteen Jumbos had a hand in producing top times as the women's swimming & diving team won a tri-meet at Wheaton with WPI. Tufts scored a 191-158 win over the host Lyons and topped the Engineers 210-149.

Jumbo Women's Swimming & Diving Falls to MIT on Seniors Day at Hamilton Pool
Four Jumbos won events and several others were runners-up, but MIT proved too strong and won 248-199 in non-league women's swimming and diving action at Hamilton Pool on Saturday afternoon. Tufts also saluted nine senior athletes in their final home meet.

Senior co-captain Courtney Adams (Lake Forest, IL) won the 50 and 100 freestyles, and then swam the lead leg in the first-place 200 freestyle relay as the Tufts women's swimming & diving team won 180-119 at Wellesley College on Wednesday night.

Sophomore Mia Greenwald (Park City, UT) won the 100 and 200 butterfly events, and was part of a meet-opening victory in the 200 medley relay, as the Tufts women's swimming & diving team opened its home schedule with a 172-124 triumph against Keene State at Hamilton Pool.

In a close competition at Middlebury College with Connecticut College, the Tufts Jumbos split a NESCAC women's swimming & diving tri-meet on Saturday afternoon. The Jumbos defeated the Camels 150-147, but against the host Panthers 152-148.
