Ingrid Gustafson joined the staff as the vault coach for Tufts during the 2014-15 season. A former New England Champion in the pole vault, she went on to vault and triple jump for the University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Track & Field team. After graduating, she earned her Masters from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She has been a staple coach for the Patriot Pole Vault Club for years, a USATF sanctioned PV club. Ingrid moved into the collegiate ranks when she took over the pole vault program at Regis College in 2011. She made an immediate impact on the success of their vaulters and has had similar results here at Tufts. Sophomore Keren Hendel cleared 11’7 ¾” in the spring of 2015 and finished as the NESCAC runner-up.
Ingrid is currently an Instruction Technology Specialist for the Cambridge Public School District.
