Lily Kurtz, Sophomore, Women’s Swimming
The Jumbos announced themselves as an up-and-coming team to contend with by winning the MIT Invitational over the weekend. Kurtz swam to first-place finishes in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes with 1:04.54 and 2:21.63 times, respectively. Both of those marks are NCAA B-cuts. Kurtz also swam the breaststroke leg in Tufts’ 200 medley relay that broke the school record and notched another NCAA B-cut with their 1:44.72 time at MIT.
