MEDFORD, MA (November 26, 2024) - The 2024 fall sports teams at Tufts University placed 122 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team released today.
Student-athletes from the sports of men's cross country, women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball are eligible.
A total of 1,145 student-athletes have been named to the 2024 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale at the end of the 2023-24 academic year. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution.
Three student-athletes garnered All-NESCAC honors in their sport, were also selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team, and earned All-Academic honors, including
Luke Brennan from Tufts Men's Cross Country. The 2024 Fall All-Academic Team also several Players of the Year or Most Outstanding Performer honorees from this fall including Tufts'
Elsi Aires, who was NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Year.
