Fernando Valencia has been the goalkeepers coach at Tufts University since 2016. He has been a part of three NCAA Championship teams at Tufts, and is part of a coaching staff that has won three United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America) National Coaching Staffs of the Year honors. In 2017 the Jumbos conceded just two goals all year and won the program's first New Engand Small College Athletic Conference title.

He is also a Staff Coach, Scout and Goalkeeper Coach for the New England Revolution Academy since August 2014. He is the CEO and Founder of International Business Soccer Corp, a global resource for soccer development.

For nine seasons he was a part of the Soccer Academy of the Americas-Real Madrid Miami as the Director and founder of the Goalkeeper Academy and the Director of International Summer Camps from 2011-14.
