2018 (Freshman): Made her collegiate debut at the Pineland XC Shootout where she finished sixth overall after clocking a 19:13.8...at the All-New England Championship that featured runners from all three divisions, Slager placed 34th with a time of 19:04.14...followed that effort up with a 20th-place finish in the Connecticut College Invitational...competed in her first NESCAC Championship posting a time of 23:40.3 which was good for 29th overall...in the New England Regional, she posted a top 55 finish with her mark of 23:11.20...ended her first-year campaign by finishing 224th at the NCAA Championship in which the Jumbos placed 12th overall.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams at Gorham High School...was a five time state champion...member of the 4x800m state-record holding team for indoor track...graduated Magna Cum Laude. 

Personal: Daughter of Barbara and Joel...has two siblings, Sara (17) and Jenny (34)....mother was a swimmer at Texas Christian University and father was a wrestler at Hope College.
