Wawer's 76 Leads Tufts Golf Team at Western New England Invitational on Thursday

Sophomore John Wawer (Litchfield, CT) shot four-over par 76 to lead the Tufts golf team at the Western New England Invitational held on Thursday at the Veterans Golf Course. Tufts finished in a tie for seventh out of 11 competing teams.

Jumbo Golfers Third at Hampton Inn Classic as 2012-13 Season Resumes at UMass Dartmouth

Freshman Brendan Koh (Singapore) with a 77 was one of three Jumbos to shoot in the 70s as the Tufts golf team resumed its 2012-13 season with a strong performance at the Hampton Inn Classic hosted by UMass Dartmouth at the Allendale Country Club.

Jumbo Golf Ties for 24th at Weather-Shortened NEIGA Championship on Cape Cod

Teams from 35 colleges and universities across New England and New York gathered at The Captains Course in Brewster on Sunday for the 78th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship. Due to the impending threat of Hurricane Sandy, the Championship was shortened from 36 holes to an 18-hole event. The Jumbo golf team tied for 24th with their 339 total.
