Sophomore Aditya Advani challenged his Eph counterpart in the number one position

WILLIAMSTOWN – The Tufts men's squash team put together some good fights, but it wasn't enough as they lost to Williams, 9-0 on Sunday. Sophomore Aditya Advani (New Delhi, India) scored 21 points in his three game loss, which was the most of any of the Jumbos.
Advani gave his Eph counterpart a challenge in the number one position, but eventually fell 11-4, 11-6, 13-11. In the number two flight, rookie Josh Lee (Seoul, Korea) tallied 15 points in his three game loss while junior Elliot Kardon (Weston, MA) tallied 16 points of his own in his three game loss in the number three flight. John Shuck of Williams beat Jumbo sophomore Brandon Weiss (Phoenix, MD) in the number four position, but Weiss was able to score 16 points in his three games.
Senior Jeremy Aronson (Amherst, MA) was topped by the Ephs' Tyler Conroy in the number five position as was freshman Daniel Fischer (Lexington, MA) by Nicholas Greaves-Tunnell in the sixth position. Junior Jamieson Breig (Westport, CT) challenged Varun Sharma in the number seven position, losing in the third game 13-11.
Rookie Owen Elliott (New York, NY) was topped in the number eight position and junior Philip Weiner (Needham, MA) lost in three games in the ninth spot.
The Jumbos return to the courts right away as they face Northeastern on Tuesday, November 19 at 8:00 pm.
