Advani of Men's Squash Competes in College Squash Associations Individual Championships

Sophomore Aditya Advani won his opening match at the CSA's Individual Championships on Friday

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Tufts sophomore Aditya Advani (New Dehli, India) competed in the opening rounds of the College Squash Association's Individual Championships on Friday.  Advani won his opening match in the Molloy Division before dropping the second and moving into the second round of the consolation bracket.

Advani faced Jonathan Gill of Columbia in the opening round of 64 and defeated his opponent to move on to the round of 32.  He then took on Ibrahim Khan of St. Lawrence and lost, moving into the consolation bracket.

Advani will now try to advance through the consolation bracket of the tournament, with his fist match against Matthew Mackin of Trinity at 12:10 pm on Saturday afternoon.  Should Advani win that match he will face the winner of the match between John Lamont of Trinity and August Frank of Penn in the consolation quarterfinals on Saturday at 5:50 pm.
