BRUNSWICK, ME – Sophomore Aditya Advani (New Dehli, India) has won his opening round match and is still alive in the Division III Individual Squash Championships held at Bowdoin College this weekend. Advani is competing with 32 other players in the A draw of the tournament.

Should he win that match he will play the winner of the duel between Scott Desantis of Amherst and Williams' Christopher Wilkinson at 5:30 pm on Saturday in quarterfinal play.
Junior Zachary Schweitzer (Huntingdon Valley, PA) also played in the A draw of the tournament but was defeated by Taylor Foehl of Williams in the opening round of 32. Playing in the B draw of the tournament, rookie Josh Lee (Seoul, Korea) fell in the first round of play to Yuga Koda of Colby.
This is the second year the tournament has been scheduled but the first year it has actually been held. Last year's tournament was cancelled due to a blizzard. College, Denison, Hamilton, Middlebury, MIT, Mount Holyoke, Tufts, Wellesley, Wesleyan and Williams.
Advani is the lone Jumbo still alive on the men's side of play. The entire Jumbo team will be back in action on Friday February 14 when they play in the College Squash Association's Team Championships at Harvard University.
