HAVERFORD, Pa. – The No. 28 Tufts men's squash team picked up a convincing 7-2 win over No 31 Haverford on Tuesday afternoon on the road. The match was the first of the day for the Jumbos, as they battled No. 29 Connecticut College after.

With the win the Jumbos improve to 5-4 overall with the win. Haverford is 5-2 after falling to the Jumbos, but beating Connecticut College later in the day.
Sophomore Raghav Kumar won three close games in the first position to beat Wallace Miller, 11-7, 11-9, 11-7. In the second spot, junior Alan Litman won a close five game battle with Davis Chase. Litman won the first two games before falling to Chase in the second two, but he came through with an 11-8 win in the fifth deciding game. Junior Cameron Ewan dominated in the fifth position, winning 11-2, 11-4, 11-7.
Junior co-captain Aidan Porgest was able to pick up a three game win over Zachary Cole in the sixth spot. Freshman Salik Awan took on Thomas Kaye in the seventh position and won in three games, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7. In the eighth spot freshman Daniel Hutt played a four game battle with Yash Singh, but won 12-10, 7-11, 11-4, 11-6. Rookie Aman Navani rounded out the Jumbos lineup in the ninth position, and won in three games, 11-6, 11-2, 11-4.
In the third position junior co-captain Brett Raskopf dueled Peter Dudley and lost a very competitive five game match. Raskopf fell in the first game, but won the second. The two then played to extra points in the third game, and Dudley took that, 15-13. Raskopf would take the fourth, 11-9, before falling in the fifth game 11-5. Freshman Walker Wind also played a close one in the fourth position, falling in four games to James Dougherty, 11-3, 7-11, 11-5, 11-1.
The Jumbos were back in action later the same day, as the battled Connecticut College and won, 7-2. They will next be in action on Saturday when they take on No. 12 Western Ontartio at Harvard at 4 pm.
