MEDFORD, MA (September 27, 2023) –
Nikola Antic's three saves on the night was enough to keep the Jumbos unbeaten streak alive, as the Tufts University men's soccer program battled Wesleyan University for 90 minutes, resulting in a 0-0 stalemate from Bello Field in Medford, MA.
The Jumbos led the game offensively, outshooting the Cardinals 14-8 on the evening, with three shots on target from both sides. Tufts held the edge in corner kick opportunities, producing five to Wesleyan's three. Both Antic and the Cardinals' keeper Josh Nadison fared well throughout the full 90 minutes, totaling three saves each.
Mikey Brady led the way offensively for the Jumbos, leading the team with four shots on goal. Brady, along with
Daniel Yanez and
Sean Traynor, were the only individuals to put a shot on target against Nadison.
Following the draw, Tufts University men's soccer increases their unbeaten streak to four games, following wins against Salem State University, Hamilton College, and Trinity College.
The Jumbos resume action and look to build off today's draw this upcoming Saturday, September 30 from Serdjenian Field in Waterville, ME against New England Small College Athletic Conference opponent Colby College. Live stats and video coverage will be available at
