AMHERST, MA (February 11, 2024) - The Tufts University Men's squash competed in the NESCAC finals Sunday afternoon against Trinity College. The match took place at the Davenport Squash Center on the campus of Amherst College. The Jumbos fell 9-0 over the No. 1 ranked Bantams.
The Jumbos (12-6) have made it to the finals for the first time in program history. The Bantams defeated the Jumbos by winning 7-9 matches in straight sets.
The Jumbos got to this point of the season through some outstanding play by everyone on the roster. The Jumbos beat seven teams inside the CSA (College Squash Association) top 20, had the third-best record in the NESCAC, they held a winning record for the first time in four seasons, and maintained a top 20 ranking all season long.
Senior
Jared Chin was phenomenal all season long. He held a co-leading 10 wins with freshman Rutva Samat. Chin also had an 8-game win streak which is a team-high and career-high. For Samat he was a staple in the Jumbos line-up, he went 8-3 in his last 10 matches. Junior
Youssef Ezzo captured 9 wins this season which was the second-best on the team. Senior
Harry Charlton captured 8 wins on the season. FreshmanÂ

Aarav Gill all posted 7 wins along with sophomore
Rohan Valia.
Next, the No. 13 ranked Jumbos play in the CSA Divisional Playoffs which will be held next week with the first round starting Thursday February 15.
