Men's Squash Blanked by #2 in the Nation Trinity College

HARTFORD, CT (November 16, 2025) – The #2 in the nation Trinity College Bantams earned a 9-0 victory against #11 Tufts University in a NESCAC men's squash match today.

Two Tufts players won games in their matches against the Bantams. At #2, junior Nachiket Desai opened with a 12-10 win before Trinity's Benedek Takacs took the match with three straight 11-5 scores. In the seventh match, Jumbo Mustafa Ayaz also started with a victory (11-8). Bantam Daniel Simon came back with 11-0, 11-6, 11-7 scores for the win.

Khaled Serag played competitively for the Jumbos in the sixth match against Trinity's Dmytro Shcherbakov. Scores were 11-6, 11-8, 11-6 in favor of the Bantam. Tufts' Ilya Kipkalov won 16 points in his #8 match. The #1 contest between Tufts' Santiago Medina Carrillo and Trinity's Joachim Chuah was won by Chuah 11-7, 11-3, 11-5

Tufts, now 0-2 overall, travels to play next at Hamilton College on Friday.
