PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 7, 2025) - The No. 12 Tufts University men's squash team fell at the hands of the skilled No. 9 ranked Cornell University at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center on Friday afternoon.
The Jumbos picked up their lone win through junior
Jared Chin, who defeated Rohan Iyer in straight sets to blemish an otherwise perfect day for Cornell. At the number one position, sophomore
Nachiket Desai fought for a pair of close sets 9-11, but ultimately fell 3-0 to Cornell number one Aaron Liang.
Senior
Kerwin Teh took a set away from Cornell number three Yousseff Sarhan 11-9, but faltered through the next three sets. Junior
Rohan Valia also won a set from the number five position, taking a frame 11-9 from the Cornell swinger Tanay Punjabi. Senior Yousseff Enzo was the last Jumbo to take a set from Cornell, taking victory by a score of 11-7 from the number six Shreemann Raghavan.
With the 8-1 win, Cornell advances to the next round of the CSA Collegiate Team Championships while Tufts sees their tournament journey come to an end.
