NEW YORK (January 24, 2026) -- The Tufts University men's squash team competed in the second day of action at the 2026 College Squash Association Individual Championships Saturday.
Sophomore
Santiago Medina Carrillo battled in the Men's Plate Pool A consolation round, knocking off Juan Felipe Hernandez 12-10, 11-7, 10-12, 3-11 and 11-7 in a five-game battle. Medina Carrillo would default the following round.
Teammate
Nachiket Desai played Hamza Wessam of Colby in the Men's Plate Pool B consolation bracket, dropping a five-game thriller 5-11, 11-8, 4-11, 11-7 and 11-6.
Both players would conclude action Saturday, as the players returned to Tufts in anticipation of this weekend's storm.
The Jumbos will take on Williams College Saturday, January 31 at the Tufts Squash Center at 1 p.m.
