MEDFORD, MA (January 31, 2026) -- The No. 11 Tufts University men's squash team honored its four seniors in grand fashion on Saturday afternoon, winning the first eight matches en route to a strong 8-1 win over No. 12 Williams College inside Tufts Squash Center on Senior Day.
Prior to the match Tufts paid tribute to seniors

Shivin Kumar and
Jared Chin for their stellar careers as Jumbos, and then during the match Tufts honored the group with a rousing afternoon of stellar play.
Sophomore
Santiago Medina Carrillo followed up his solid debut at the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships last week with a strong outing Saturday, topping Nick Agger 11-4, 11-4 and 11-9 at the No. 1 position.
Junior
Nachiket Desai played a thrilling five-game match with Himanshu Pannu, taking over an hour to best the No. 2 player from Williams with scores of 11-6, 7-11, 11-9, 7-11 and 11-3. Valia played one of his trademark long matches before also picking up a strong 11-8, 11-7, 7-11 and 11-2 win over Asher Levy at the No. 3 position.
Sophomore
Milo Friedman was a three-game winner over Alex Akbari 13-11, 11-2 and 11-9, while senior
Jared Chin played the most thrilling match of the day, as he rallied for a 9-11, 11-9, 11-13, 11-7 and 11-8 win over William Newton in a match that went 75 minutes.
Junior
Aarav Gill won in three games 11-9, 12-10 and 11-9 over Causey Green at No. 7, while sophomore
Ali Tarek topped Dylan Scott 11-9, 11-2 and 11-8 at the No. 8 position. Kumar also celebrated his Senior Day with a victory, claiming the win at No. 9 with an 11-8, 11-6, 5-11 and 12-10 win over Rafay Syed.
Ayaz played a thrilling five-game match at No. 6 against Leighton Calhoun, falling in a heartbreaker 11-8, 10-12, 11-9, 6-11 and 11-7.
Rohan Bhatia picked up an 11-1, 11-13, 11-5 and 11-4 win at No. 10 over Leonard Lee Saturday.
Tufts will look to continue the strong weekend, taking on No. 15 Middlebury College on Sunday at noon inside Tufts Squash Center.
