WATERVILLE, ME & NEW LONDON, CT (April 18, 2026) -- The No. 3 Tufts University men's tennis squad won its 10th and 11th straight matches Saturday afternoon, splitting the squad and knocking off a pair of New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) foes with a 7-0 win at Connecticut College and a 6-1 win at Colby College.

Match 1: Tufts 6, Colby 1
The No. 3 Tufts University men's tennis team continued its dominant spring campaign on Saturday afternoon, earning a 6-1 road victory over No. 59 Colby College at the Alfond-Wales Tennis Courts.

Tufts (17-2, 8-0 NESCAC) set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. The first point of the afternoon was secured at No. 2 doubles, where Javier Gonzalez and S. Mastrogamvrakis delivered a 6-4 win.

The Jumbos quickly followed with another point at the top spot, as Kaetan Mehta and Andrej Djokic posted a 6-3 victory. Anirudh Dhanwada and Matej Djokic capped the doubles sweep at No. 3 with a 6-3 decision, giving Tufts full momentum heading into singles play.

That momentum carried seamlessly into singles, where the Jumbos claimed four straight matches to clinch the team victory. Kaetan Mehta was first off the court at No. 3 singles, dominating his match with a 6-1, 6-0 win. Shortly after, Stavros Mastrogamvrakis extended the lead to 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 4.

The clinching point came from Andrej Djokic at No. 2 singles, who controlled play in a 6-1, 6-4 win to secure the match for Tufts. With the result decided, Javier Gonzalez added another strong performance at the top of the lineup, earning a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles.

Colby (5-8, 3-5 NESCAC) picked up its lone point at No. 6 singles, where Marco Ziets-Segura defeated Davide Mirza in straight sets.

The final match to finish came at No. 5 singles, where Matej Djokic battled through a three-set super tiebreak to earn a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7) victory, closing out the 6-1 team result.

Match 2: Tufts 7, Connecticut College 0
