2022 (Graduate Student): Appeared in six matches for the Jumbos, starting two of those ... Attempted three shots on the year ... Played a season high 57 minutes in a game against the reigning National Champions Connecticut College ... Finished his Jumbo career with one last season in which they went 8-3-7 and took a trip to the NCAA Second Round. 

2021 (Senior): Played in 11 games with six starts...Returned from injury to start three NCAA games in November...Assisted the overtime game-winning goal in 1-0 final at Babson...Scored in team's 5-1 victory at Salem State...Achieved Academic All-NESCAC Team accolades.

2020 (Junior): Season canceled due to COVID-19.

2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 23 games, drawing five starts for the 20-2-2 National Championship winning Tufts men's soccer team...had one goal and one assist...tallied the game-winner on a penalty kick in the regular season finale against Bowdoin (10/29) for his first career goal...earned an assist in the win at Williams (9/7) for his first collegiate point...was an integral part of the Jumbo defensive midfield group that allowed just 0.65 goals against which ranks 10th in all of Division III...Earned Academic All-NESCAC Team selection.

2018 (Freshman): The freshman appeared in 16 games including in the Jumbos 2-1 victory over Calvin in the National Championship game to complete their 18-0-3 campaign...made his collegiate debut against Mass-Boston on September 4 in a 3-0 victory.

Before Tufts: Was on the soccer, wrestling and track teams at the McDonogh School...was on the team that was two-time MIAA champions...his high school team was nationally ranked in the top ten...was a captain of his high school team his senior year...played with the Baltimore Celtic and was on the team that was two-time state champions and two-time east region champions...was a national championship runner-up...was on the team that was 2018 US Youth Soccer national champions...was the valedictorian of his high school class...was on the Dean's List all four years of high school. 

Personal: Son of Patrick Welsh and Natasha Cunningham...has two siblings, Henry (24) and Harlan (16).
