Before Tufts: Was on the basketball and rowing teams at Mercer Island High School...finished second and third at USRowing Northwest Regionals...competed twice at the USRowing Youth Nationals...played varsity basketball...was the Salutatorian of his high school class...was a National AP Scholar...was a National Merit Commended Scholar. 

Personal: Son of Leigh Hardiman and Peter Mostow...has one sibling, Rhys (15).
