Biography

2017 (Senior): Played in all 21 games while starting seven of them as the Jumbos went 15-2-4, won their first ever NESCAC tournament title, and made it to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament...named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team...led the team with five goals and was second on the team with 10 points...scored two goals in the team's 10-0 win over Mount St. Vincent's...had a goal in the Jumbos' 2-0 win over Trinity early in the season.

2016 (Junior): Competed in 19 of 22 games, including making three starts … Totaled two goals, four assists and eight points … Netted the game-winner from just inside the 18-yard box in the 68th minute during a 1-0 victory over UMass-Boston in the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament (Nov. 19) in Medford, Massachusetts … Assisted on Nathan Majumder’s game-winner in the 109th minute during a thrilling 1-0 victory over Kenyon in the fourth round of the NCAA Tournament (Nov. 20) at Bello Field … Compiled a three-point performance, with a goal and an assist, during a 3-0 win against Bates (Sept. 17) in Medford, Massachusetts … Tallied an assist on Gavin Tasker’s insurance goal in the 68th minute during a 2-0 victory over Springfield in the NCAA Tournament first round (Nov. 12) in Glassboro, New Jersey … Contributed with an assist during a 5-1 win over Keene State (Oct. 19) in Medford, Massachusetts. 

2015 (Sophomore): Played in all 19 of the Jumbos games as a sophomore…finished the season with one goal and one assist for three points…tallied a goal in the Jumbos season-opening 3-1 win over Endicott….helped the Jumbos with an assist in a 3-0 win over Williams.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games as a freshman member of the NCAA Championship team…made his collegiate debut and scored his first collegiate goal in an 8-0 season-opening win over UMass-Boston…tallied a goal in the Jumbos 4-0 win over Bates.

Before Tufts: Was on the soccer and lacrosse teams at Marin Academy…was an All-American and All-County selection…was an All-American selection for lacrosse...holds the goal scoring record with 38 goals for soccer...was a captain of both the lacrosse and soccer teams...was the winner of the Academic Athletic Excellence Award…was on the Dean’s List all four years of high school…was on the honor roll all four years of high school.

Personal: Son of Jennifer Blackman and John Eichhorst…has one sibling, Waverly (18)…his mother was on the track and field team at Georgetown.
