Before Tufts: Was on the swimming team, the cross country team and the track and field team and was a triathlon athlete at Charlotte Country Day School...placed in the 100 back and the 100 freestyle at the state championships...was a Congressional Gold Medal recipient.

Personal: Son of John and Robin....father, John, played football at Gettysburg College.
