Before Tufts: Was on the tennis team at Cold Spring Harbor High School for five years and then at Laurel Springs High School his senior year...was a captain of the team...was the No. 1 singles player at Cold Spring Harbor from 10th grade...named an All-New York tennis selection...selected to the Newsday All-Long Island tennis team...member of the Debate Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Matthew and Mary...has one sibling, Shane.
