2020 (Junior): Season cancelled due to COVID-19...Earned NESCAC All-Academic Team membership...Was selected as a recipient of a Goldwater Scholarship Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the United States for undergraduate students studying the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics...Won Tufts' R. M. Karapetoff Cobb Chemistry Fund - given to the chemistry student at the end of the junior year with the highest academic standing.

2019 (Sophomore): Achieved NESCAC All-Academic recognition...Made two pitching appearances for Jumbo team that won 32 games and the NESCAC title, and hosted an NCAA Regional...Did not allow and earned run...Pitched a scoreless inning against Grinnell in Florida on March 18.

2018 (Freshman): Appeared in four games in relief in her freshman season...she helped the Jumbos finish the season with a 32-10 record and reach the NCAA Tournament Cambridge Regional Round...made her collegiate debut on March 21 against Wis.-Superior and recorded a save in the 4-1 victory...Cancemi totaled 6.0 innings pitched and struck out seven batters...posted a 5.83 ERA and had a 8.17 K/7.

Before Tufts: Was on the softball and winter track and field team at Kings Park High School...was a four-time All-County selection...was a News 2 Long Island Scholar Athlete...was an AP Scholar with Distinction...was a commended student for the National Merit Program...member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Angela and Anthony...has one sibling, Gianna (23)...father was on the crew team at Syracuse.
