Before Tufts: Was on the cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams at F.S. Bunnell High School....was a two time All-SWC Conference selection, holds the Bunnell school records in the indoor 400, indoor 600 and outdoor 300m hurdles...was a three-time captain of the varsity team...finished in fifth place in the 300m hurdles at the Greater Hartford Invitational...earned 11th place at the CIAC State Open Championships...was a four-time champion of the 300m hurdles and the meet record holder...was a National Merit Scholarship commended student...was an AP Scholar with distinction...won the Bunnell High School Academic Achievement Award...graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Personal: Daughter of Jim and Lori....has one sister, Jessica (23).
