Tufts Cheer is an all-gender, competitive club sports team that cheers at home games for football, and men’s & women’s basketball. We welcome all undergraduates to learn to cheer, stunt, and perform, regardless of previous experience. Club Cheer meets multiple times per week to build game day and stunt skills, practice a routine for cheer competition, and perform at Tufts sports games. When we compete in the Spirit Rally Division, we operate as a part of the NCA, the National Cheer Association (https://www.varsity.com/nca/).

Join cheer by coming to a general interest meeting (GIM) at the beginning of the semester, or by contacting a captain if the GIMs have passed. Practices are held in Jackson Gym. We will host tryouts for the competition team later during the fall semester. The competition team has greater attendance requirements for both commitment and safety. If a member does not want to participate in competition, Tufts Cheer can still be a space for them! Individuals can opt to cheer for game days only and not compete.
