Tufts Club Hockey is a co-ed organization that competes against club hockey programs throughout New England from September through early March. We hold 2–3 practices each week, typically in the late evening at a nearby rink, and practices are open to anyone who wants to play. We provide transportation to and from the rink for all practices and games.

We play competitive hockey in Division 3 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), with games almost every weekend. Because of league regulations, our ACHA games have a set roster of players who are able to make a greater time commitment. However, we also play teams across a wide range of skill levels, including programs outside the ACHA, which allows us to provide opportunities for as many players as possible to compete in games throughout the season.

We are also committed to growing our women’s program. Two seasons ago, we played our first women’s-only game, and we are now associate members of the Independent Women’s Club Hockey League (IWCHL). Through our associate membership, we have access to a network of women’s club hockey programs throughout the region, which we hope to use to continue building and expanding this part of our program.

Above all else, we are committed to being one team that is inclusive of all identities and skill levels. Whether players are looking for competitive hockey, recreational opportunities, or simply a community to play with, we want everyone to have a place within Tufts Club Hockey. We look forward to continuing to grow our program and furthering this mission in the coming season.
