Junior Xavier Canfin scored the biggest goal of his career 4:52 into overtime of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer title game, helping the No. 1 Tufts University men's soccer team to its fifth all-time crown with a 2-1 win over Trinity University of Texas in play from Kerr Stadium at Ronaoke College Sunday afternoon. With Tufts down 1-0, Mateo Bargagna ripped a left-footed rocket that blistered into the top left part of the net to deadlock the game with four seconds to play. The score was the latest goal netted in regulation in a NCAA Division III title game. 

2024 Championship

The Tufts University men's soccer team won its second straight NCAA championship and fourth in the last six years with a 2-0 victory over New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Amherst College on Saturday night. The Jumbos, who have won all four titles under head coach Josh Shapiro, become just the third program in NCAA Division III history to win four or more national championships. Tufts finished the 2019 season with a 20-2-2 record, two more victories than any other team in program history.

2023 Championship

2018

The Tufts University men's soccer team won its third NCAA Championship in the last five years today with a 2-1 victory over Calvin College at UNCG Stadium. The Jumbos became just the fifth program in NCAA Division III history to win three national championships, all under head coach Josh Shapiro. Today they built a 2-0 lead, then after Calvin scored on a penalty kick in the 50th minute the Jumbos withstood the Knights' offensive pressure to post the victory and finish the season unbeaten (18-0-3).

2006 Championship

Junior Tyler Kulcsar flicked in a corner kick by classmate Kevin Halliday in the second overtime giving the Tufts University Men's Soccer team a 1-0 win over Calvin College in the 2016 NCAA Division III Championship Game at Roanoke College's Kerr Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Head coach Josh Shapiro's Jumbos won their second national title in three years with the victory. The 2014 Tufts team, which included 13 players who are on this year's roster, were 4-2 winners against Wheaton (Ill.) in that NCAA final.

2000 Championship

2014

The 16-2-4 Jumbos complete a historic season with their first national championship win in school history. Tufts defeated the Wheaton College (Ill.) Thunder in a game for the ages by a final of 3-2. Nate Majumder notched two scores for the Jumbos, while Peter Kramer and Gus Santos added one apiece. Rui Pinheiro and Jason Kayne both recorded one assist. During the latter part of their NCAA tournament run, the Jumbos, who were in their 4th NCAA tournament in school history, became giant slayers beating Messiah College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and Wheaton College (Ill.) which have a combined 97 NCAA tournament appearances and 14 national championships between them.
