2018 (Freshman): Patel posted a 33rd-place finish in his collegiate debut at the Pineland XC Shootout...he followed that up by competing in the Purple Valley Classic where he clocked a time of 29:32.7...the freshman also ran at the All-New England Championship where the brown and blue placed third overall...at the Connecticut College Invitational, Patel finished with a 28:24.7 mark.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country and track and field teams at Bellarmine Preparatory School...was on the team that won the 2016 Washington state championship in cross country.

Personal: Son of Tarak Patel and Kimberly Wenner...has two siblings, Aiden (15) and Talia (13).
