PRIOR TO TUFTS: Attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Maryland, where he starred in both cross country and track & field...A senior captain of both programs, he was a two-time team MVP in cross country (2024, 2026), earned the track team's Most Improved Award as a junior and was named Track & Field MVP as a senior...He garnered First Team All-State and First Team All-Region honors in both 2025 and 2026, was a three-time First Team All-City selection, and earned National Indoor Nationals (NIN) All-America honors in 2026...He helped lead Baltimore Polytechnic to four consecutive city cross country championships, an indoor track regional championship and an indoor track city title while posting personal-best times of 50.9 in the 400 meters, 1:53.4 in the 800 meters and 4:23.7 in the 1,600 meters...In the classroom, he was an Honor Roll student throughout all four years of high school.

PERSONAL: Parents Scott and Emily Isbell...has one brother, Brandon...chose Tufts because "I thought it was the most suitable choice for me to grow as a person and a student athlete."
