PRIOR TO TUFTS: Attended Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada Flintridge, California, where he competed in cross country and track & field...A senior co-captain of the cross country team, he earned the program's Most Improved Award as a sophomore and helped lead the Wolves to a fourth-place finish in the California Division 5 State Cross Country Championships during his senior season...He posted personal-best times of 16:12 in the 5K, 9:21.03 in the 3,200 meters and 4:30.49 in the 1,600 meters, establishing himself as one of the top distance runners in his program.

PERSONAL: Ancient studies major...chose Tufts because "I loved how active the community was, and how many opportunities there were outside of the classroom. I was also very impressed by the robust humanities department and majoring in the Ancient Studies program."
