Adam Batista



Adam Batista joined the Tufts staff as an assistant in the summer of 2024. He comes to Tufts after serving as an assistant coach at Division I Stanford University during the 2023 campaign. Prior to that, Batista was an assistant at Division I Boston University for a season in 2022. 

Batista also spent five years with the Brandeis men’s soccer program, including the last two as associate head coach. During his tenure, the Judges reached the 2017 NCAA Division III Final Four and averaged 10 wins a season. 

Batista came to Brandeis following two seasons at Wheaton College (2015-16) and the 2014 campaign with the Vermont women’s soccer program. A 2014 graduate of Middlebury College, Batista was a team captain and three-year starter for the Panthers, who won the 2010 NESCAC Championship en route to the NCAA quarterfinals. 

Outside the college ranks, Batista previously spent two years as a director of coaching for LFC International Academy of Massachusetts (2015-17) and four years with the FC Boston Bolts (2017-21). 

He earned a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University Irvine and has also received both an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma.
