Biography

2016 (Senior): Started 19 of 22 games in net as the Jumbos won the program's second national championship and finishe the season with a 15-5-2 record...recorded career highs in single-season shutouts (12), save percentage (.888) and goals-against average (0.46), while tying a single-season career high with 14 wins...allowed more than one goal only twice and never allowed more than two goals in a game...recorded shutouts in five of six NCAA Division III Tournament games, including four consecutive...rallied a season-high eight saves in a 1-0 victory over Rowan (Nov. 13) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Glassboro, N.J....totaled seven saves in a thrilling 1-0 double-overtime victory over Kenyon (Nov. 20) in the fourth round of the NCAA Tournament at Bello Field...registered a five-save performance during a 1-0 victory over Calvin College (Dec. 3) at the national-championship game in Salem, Virginia. 

2015 (Junior): Started 18 of the Jumbos 19 games during his junior season as the Jumbos were 11-5-3 overall and advanced to the NCAA Tournament third round…finished the year with 56 saves and an .800 save percentage…tallied nine shutouts and had the fifth best save percentage of all NESCAC goalies and the fourth best goals-against average in the NESCAC…made three saves in the Jumbos season-opening 3-1 win over Endicott…tallied back-to-back one save shutout performances against Colby and Plymouth State…made a season-high eight saves in a 0-0 tie with Wesleyan…then matched his season high the next game with eight saves in a 1-0 loss to Amherst…became the Jumbos all-time shutouts leader when he notched his 23rd career shutout in a 1-0 win over Middlebury…tallied four saves in a 0-0 tie with Bates…made six saves in the Jumbos 3-0 win over Williams…helped the Jumbos to a 0-0 tie with Bowdoin with six saves…made three saves in the Jumbos 2-1 NCAA Tournament win over Salisbury…helped the Jumbos edge Montclair State 3-2 in the NCAA Tournament with three saves.

2014 (Sophomore): Started 20 of the Jumbos 22 games as a sophomore on the NCAA championship team…saved 47 shots for a .797 save percentage and recorded a career-high 11 shutouts…was an All-NESCAC Second Team selection…made three saves in a 1-0 win over Colby…saved five in the Jumbos 3-1 win over Connecticut College…tallied four saves in a 2-0 win over local-rival Wheaton…helped the Jumbos secure four consecutive shutouts during the NCAA Tournament as he collected four saves in the Wheaton game, three saves in a 2-0 win over Muhlenberg, a 1-0 shutout over Messiah and then saved three in a 3-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan….made eight saves in the NCAA Final game against Wheaton (Ill.) and was named the Defensive Player of the Tournament.

2013 (Freshman): Started 13 games as a freshman for the Jumbos…saved 34 shots for a .810 save percentage…recoded seven shutouts during his rookie season…made his collegiate debut and picked up his first collegiate shutout in a 3-0 win over Bates…collected three saves in a 2-0 win over Brandeis…made six saves in the Jumbos 1-0 win over Middlebury…tallied four saves in a 1-0 win over Bowdoin.

Before Tufts: Was on the soccer team at Weymouth High School…was a Massachusetts All-State selection in 2010 and 2011…was selected as the Bay State Conference MVP in 2011…was a Bay State All-Star in 2010 and 2011…was a two-time Bay State League MVP selection (both in 2010 and 2011)...was a member of the National Honors Society…was an AP Scholar.

Personal: Son of Bob and Sue…has one sibling, Jake (24).
