Before Tufts: Was on the swimming team at Newtown High School...selected to the RYWC Makos National Team...finished 20th at the YMCA Nationals in the 200 fly...graduated in the top 5% of his class...winner of the Avelle Foundation's Senior Neuroscience Award and Scholarship...was a Japan Society Junio Fellow in 2015.

Personal: Son of Nina and David...has one sibling, Aidan (16).
