Before Tufts: Was on the swimming team for all four years of high school and the crew team for three years at Malden High School....was named the MVP of the Greater Boston League all four years of high school...was a captain of the team his senior year...was a state-qualifier for crew all three years he was on the team...was a four-year state qualifier for swimming...was on the honor roll...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Andrea and Tommy...has one sibling, Victoria (25).
