2018-19 (Junior): DeCandido earned First Team All-NESCAC honors and was named by D3hoops to Second Team All-Northeast Region for her efforts in her juniors campaign...she was a key piece in Tufts ending the year 28-3 overall, winning the 2019 NESCAC Championship, and reaching the NCAA "Elite Eight"...the junior averaged 12.8 points per game, which was tied for the highest average on the team, with teammate Jac Knapp...the forward shot 46.8% from the floor and proved to be tough to defend as she can beat a team from beyond the three-point line or driving it in the paint...DeCandido scored in double-figures in 20 games and netted a season-high 21 points on 9-11 from the floor in Tufts 80-42 win over Bridgewater State...she netted 14 and 17 points respectively in the Jumbos NESCAC Semifinal and Final victories over Amherst and Bowdoin...the junior led the team in rebounds per game with 5.7 and often looked to push the ball up the floor off the rebounds for the Jumbos...the forward was also the Jumbos best distributor as she dished out 3.5 assists per night...she was Tufts defensive rim protector as she blocked 1.0 shots per contest...DeCandido continued playing at an elite level in the NCAA Tournament as she averaged 14.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks in the four games. She posted double-doubles in points and rebounds in the NCAA Tournament against Western New England and Messiah.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Member of the Jumbos team that finished the season 26-5 and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals...played in 26 games for the Jumbos during the season and started in each game… was second on the team with 12.8 points per game… had an 82.5% free-throw percentage which was first on the team shooting 66-80 helping her place second all-time in career free-throw percentage… tied for second in minutes with 30.3 a game… scored a career high 24 points against UMASS.- Dartmouth in a 74-66 win, going 8-12 from the field in 38 minutes of play…had a 51.8% field goal percentage which led the team and was 17th in Tufts all-time history for field goal percentage in a season… compiled a total of 725 minutes throughout the course of the season… second on the team with 6.2 rebounds a game… collected a career high 13 rebounds in a win against Bates and had 10 ten or more rebounds in five games.
2016-17 (Freshman): Appeared in all 33 games off the bench, logging the most minutes of any reserve at 18.4 per game...checked into a single-season category of the program's record book, shooting 86.9 percent from the foul line (No. 5 slot) ...held the best free-throw percentage on the team...led all bench players in points (5.6), rebounds (3.2), assists (1.6) and steals (0.9) per game...grabbed five or more rebounds in 10 games...corralled a career-high eight boards during a 58-40 victory over visiting Williams in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament on Feb. 18...totaled 10 or more points in three games....dropped a career-high 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the floor and a 5-for-5 effort from the line during a 72-48 win at Connecticut College on Jan. 21.
Before Tufts: Was on the basketball, soccer and track teams at Gwynedd Mercy Academy...was a All-State Second Team selection for basketball her senior year...was named the MVP of the Catholic League for basketball her senior year...was a First Team All-League selection for basketball her junior and senior years...named to the All-Intell Team for basketball her junoir and senior year...was an All-League First and Second Team selection for soccer her sophomore, junior and senior years...was an All-District Second Team honoree for soccer her junior year...First Team All-State selection for track and field in the long and triple jupmp and the 4x400 meter relay...was named the MVP of her track and field team her freshman, sophomore and senior years...was a 1,000 point scorer for her high school basketball team...winner of the "Outstanding Overall Senior Athlete" Award...member of the National Honor Society...was an Ambassador Board Member...winner of the School Spirit Award for her senior class...was on the honor roll all four years of high school...Distinguish Honors for History honoree.
