PRIOR TO TUFTS: Attended Albuquerque Academy in New Mexico, where she competed in cross country and track & field for the Chargers...A three-year captain of the cross country team, she helped lead Albuquerque Academy to two cross country state championships and a track & field state championship during her career...She posted personal-best times of 2:14 in the 800 meters and 5:08 in the 1,600 meters while establishing herself as one of the top distance runners in the program.

PERSONAL: Chose Tufts because "It is a good academic, athletic, and locational fit."
