PRIOR TO TUFTS: Attended Crescent Valley High School in Oregon, where she was a four-year varsity letter-winner in cross country and track & field for the Raiders...A standout middle-distance runner, she served as a co-captain of the cross country team in 2025 and was named the track & field team's MVP in 2024 and 2026...She won the 800-meter state championship in 2026 and earned seven First Team All-State selections in track & field and two First Team All-State honors in cross country...She also won the Nike Outdoor Nationals Freshman Mile in 2023 and was part of Crescent Valley's school-record distance medley relay team...Helped lead the Raiders to three consecutive cross country district championships (2022-24) and four straight track & field district championships (2023-26)...Her personal bests include 2:12.28 in the 800 meters, 4:36.7 in the 1,500 meters and 17:41 in the 5K...In the classroom, she was a member of the National Honor Society and earned the Oregon State Seal of Tri-Literacy.

PERSONAL: Parents Dirk Weiss and Manuela Hoehn-Weiss...has one brother, Philipp...mom played tennis at Santa Clara University...chose Tufts "because of its incredibly kind and welcoming people and its great academics."
