PRIOR TO TUFTS: Was a four-year letter winner for the Scots of Shorecrest High School...National Merit Scholar winner as a senior...honored as the Shorecrest High School's Distinguished Scholar-Athlete as a senior. 

PERSONAL: Parents Tracey and Todd Howson...one sister, Elle, was a swimmer at Occidental College...chose "Tufts for its blend of excellent athletics, rigorous academics, and welcoming community."
