Meghan Claflin Tufts after around seven years of coaching club swimming, most recently with the Boston YMCA Bluefins, located in Reading, MA.  Claflin has primarily coached 11-14 age group swimmers and senior (high school aged) swimmers.  This past year, Claflin have coached multiple New England champions, New England Seniors and YMCA National qualifiers. 

A native of Newburyport, MA while swimming for the YMCA of the Northshore in Beverly. Claflin was a five-year YMCA National qualifier, primarily in middle/distance freestyle events.  She swam at the collegiate level for one year at Bryant University, specializing in distance freestyle.  Claflin would complete her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training at Salem State University and am currently a licensed and certified athletic trainer as well as swim coach. 

Claflin currently lives on the North Shore in Beverly.
