Julian Hubbard joined the Jumbos as jumps coach for the 2020-21 season. Originally from Augusta, Maine, he is a 2016 graduate of the University of Maine. Among Hubbard's highlights as a Black Bear was a 47'11 1/4" (14.61m) effort in the long jump to place fifth at the 2015 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association indoor meet. He started his collegiate career at UMass Boston, where he set the program record (since broken) in the outdoor triple jump with a leap of 45'8 1/2" (13.93m).
