Anthony Fucillo enters his first year as an assistant coach for the Jumbos in 2026. A 2011 graduate of Tufts, former two-time captain and quarterback, will be the Jumbos’ Special Teams Coordinator and Safeties Coach.

For the past three seasons, Fucillo was the Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at The Belmont Hill School. In those three seasons, Fucillo led Belmont Hill Football to a league championship, 2 New England Bowl appearances and a New England Championship.

Prior to Belmont Hill, Fucillo spent six seasons as the safeties coach at Harvard University. During his time in Cambridge, Fucillo coached 7 All-Ivy Defensive Backs and helped the Harvard defense achieve top-10 passing defenses in the country multiple seasons.

Fucillo, who spent the 2014-16 seasons at Amherst College, has also enjoyed stints at WPI and Stonehill College.

At Amherst, Fucillo coached the quarterbacks and was part of two undefeated seasons in 2014 and 2015.

Fucillo graduated as the Jumbos’ highest-rated passer in school history. After graduating in 2011, he played professionally for the Aalborg 89ers of the Danish National League.
