Jamie Chagnon

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Chagnon joins the Jumbos from Susquehanna University where he was Director of Athletic Communications since 2021. He has also held Director's roles at King's College (2017-21), Vassar College (2013-17) and Randolph College (2010-13).

Chagnon brings experience and a skill set in the areas of videography, graphic design, photography, social media and other current trends in sports publicity which will help to elevate the athletics communications efforts at Tufts.

With great enthusiasm for athletic communications, Chagnon's contributions to the profession includes leadership roles within the College Sports Information Directors of America (now College Sports Communicators) national organization. He currently serves as a CoSIDA Academic All-American District Committee Coordinator, a CoSIDA Membership Recognition Committee Member and as a CoSIDA Scholarship Committee Member. While at Susquehanna he was elected as a Division III Sports Information Directors of America (D3SIDA) Regional Representative.

Among other national roles Chagnon has held, he was head statistician for the NCAA Division III Softball Championships held in Salem Virginia in 2005, 2008 and 2012. He has coaching experience as well, with a stint as the head coach of the varsity e-sports program while at King's College.

A 2010 graduate of Lynchburg College, Chagnon graduated with a sports management degree and played on the baseball team.
