An All-American in cross country and track & field for the Jumbos last year, Liz Donahue joins the Tufts coaching staff for 2026-27.

She led Tufts women's cross country to 11th place at the NCAA Championships last fall, the squad's best national showing since 2021. Donahue was 35th in the race for All-American honors. She was also fifth overall at the NCAA Regional Championship, which Tufts won in 2025. She was also an All-Conference performer last fall.

In track & field last season, Donahue qualified for the NCAA 5000 meters indoors and placed 11th for second team All-American honors. She also won the 10K event at the NESCAC Championships outdoors, as well as the 5K event at the New England DIII Indoor Championships which Tufts won as a team.

Earlier in her career, Donahue was the runner-up at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Regional.
