Mallory Skaggs joined the Tufts University administrative staff in the fall of 2025, becoming the University's first full-time staff member charged with compliance. 

Skaggs comes to Tufts University after serving as the Assistant Director of Compliance and Student-Athlete Wellness at Division I Northeastern University since 2022. She was charged with developing and presenting all rules education, while also monitoring and processing all compliance records at NU.

Prior to her time with the Huskies, she was the Compliance Coordinator at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan from 2020-2022. She handled compliance and eligibility for all of Oakland’s over 300 Division I student-athletes.

Skaggs also has had stops at Purdue University-Fort Wayne while serving as the postgraduate intern at the NCAA from 2018-2019. While with the NCAA, she helped provide clear and concise Division I legislative interpretations to the membership. Skaggs also assisted with governance processes through drafting proposals submitted by the membership.

She also worked at her alma mater the University of South Florida as a Financial Aid Advisor graduate assistant and athletics compliance assistant. A graduate of USF in 2013 with a B.S. in sport management, Skaggs received her MBA from South Florida in 2015.
