Meredith Mesaris



Meredith Mesaris was named as the head coach of the Tufts women's basketball program in the summer of 2025. Mesaris comes to Medford from Division III Vassar College, where she led the Brewers to back-to-back Liberty League titles in 2023 and 2024. In her first season in Poughkeepsie, Vassar went 25-3 as she was named Liberty League and D3hoops.com Region III Coach of the Year. The same year, Mesaris was tabbed by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as a Thirty Under 30 Honoree.

  • 2015 graduate of the University of Scranton, where she was an all-time great for the Royals
  • Finished her career at Scranton with 1,758 points, the most in Landmark Conference history after averaging 17.9 points per game
  • Was Landmark Conference Player of the Year in 2015, and WBCA All-American twice
  • Graduated magna cum laude from Scranton in 2015 with a bachelor's in management and minor in coaching
  • Earned her Master's from Southern New Hampshire in 2020 in sports management
