WORCESTER - Junior Kayley Pettoruto (Andover, MA) of the Tufts women's outdoor track & field team finished 10th out of 24 entrants at the Holy Cross College Multi-Event Meet held on Wednesday and Thursday.
Pettoruto accumulated 3,352 points in the seven-event heptathlon, including 661 in the 800 meters. Her 2:32.61 time was fourth overall. She also scored 528 points in the 200 meters, recording a time of 29.35 seconds.
Four Jumbos competed overall. First year Kristen Roberts (Marlborough, MA) placed 13th with a total of 3,257 points. Her best event was the 200 meters, where her 27.95 time scored 635 points. Sophomore Sarah Schiferl (Zionsville, IN) scored 2,701 points for 18th place and first year Bethanne Goldman (Elkins Park, PA) was 19th overall (2,589 points).
